    The Canadian Brass MB-50 is an ideal mouthpiece for BBb and CC tubas because it provides substantial volume as well as more fundamental in the sound.  The response and high register is enhanced because of the size and shape of the throat.  The MB-50 features a narrow and clearly defined rim that aids in flexibility and articulation.  This mouthpiece uses the cup of the RT-50 but the rim of the Arnold Jacobs Heritage Tuba Mouthpiece.

    This mouthpiece is wonderful for a tuba player with a more developed embouchure. I got the gold-plated version, and making transitions between extreme registers has become exponentially easier! And the mouthpiece shipped quickly and safely!

    5/5 Love it This mouthpiece is definitely one for a more experienced player looking for an upgrade in their mouthpieces. I bought because I was looking to upgrade from my Tucci-88 for one more suitable for large ensemble. It's wide enough to give sharp and clear tone while deep enough for to project across the ensemble. Honestly, I've loved it and highly recommend it.
