It's been a a little over a week since I got this mouthpiece, but I got to say I like it so far. It's really nice and comfortable for long playing sessions. I can get a lot out of the pedal register and I think plays really well with my 5/4 cc tuba. I bought this out of a whim, but I was pleasantly surprised. Especially with how much signature artist mouthpieces can be, this would be a good option for many individuals

Mouthpiece is terrific. From the moment I began using it, it became clear that I no longer had an excuse...time to get busy! I'm still struggling at 155lbs. 5'11" to bring enough air to the situation, but it's coming along.

I have been searching for something to match with my F tuba for quite sometime. After looking around A LOT, I came across the AMH Paul. I was not expecting to enjoy it, but I cannot imagine going to another mouthpiece that offers great control, allows air to fill the instrument, and produce a rich sound that I’ve yet to replicate with another mouthpiece for my 2250. Very happy with my purchase from Professor Mouthpiece.!

Been using this mouthpiece for a few days and the difference in my playing is outstanding. Overall very comfortable to play on and project in an ensemble setting and when working on solo repertoire and etudes such as the Grigoriev and Kopprasch Books this mouthpiece works wonders I feel my flexibility work wonders compared to mouthpieces i’ve used in the past. Overall recommend for the Collegiate Tuba player looking to upgrade in mouthpiece.

I started playing tuba in college over 30 years ago. After leaving college I really didn’t play much, mostly because I did not have access to a horn. About 4 years ago, I purchased a used Yamaha YBB-641. I was still playing on the same mouthpiece I learned with 30 years ago, a Bach 25. Thanks to the generous 30-day return policy, I could try multiple mouthpieces. Before placing my order, I reached out to Professor Mouthpiece for some advice. Initially, I had planned to try the Robert Tucci RT-50, the Robert Tucci RT-88, and the Laskey 32B. Jerome encouraged me to try the Robert Tucci’s and recommended the Laskey 32G instead for my rotary valve tuba. He also suggested I try the Liberation Mr. P 5.0 Signature. I took his advice and ordered the RT-50, RT-88, Lackey 32G, and Mr. P 5.0. Shipping was super fast and the mouthpieces were well-packaged. By the end of the 30 days, I found the Mr. P 5.0 to be the easiest to play of the four. Centering the pitch seemed easier, articulations were clear and the tone was consistent from the low through the high register. I was also impressed with the RT-88 which provided a wonderful full tone producing a throaty ”bark” in the lower register but requiring a large amount of airflow. Ultimately, I decided to keep the Mr. P 5.0 AND the RT-88. I intend to use the Mr. P 5.0 daily while experimenting and building my airflow with the RT-88. The return process for the RT-50 and the 32G could not have been easier. Thanks Jerome for all your help!

Meant for an F tuba, works well on a Bb tuba though. The 32.5 mm rim allows for an open cavity and fat low notes, combined with the slightly sharp inner part of the rim have a good seal with the lips and mouthpiece. The shape of the cup makes it easy to play on and notes are effortless compared to other pieces I’ve used. I recommend this piece for any intermediate/advanced player as it isn’t very beginner friendly, because the effortlessness of playing gives a variable tone quality and new players may sound bad.

I don't really think of myself as a large mouthpiece guy, but these big Laskeys sound great and are surprisingly easy to play. I had a hard time choosing between the 32H and the 32G, but I went with the G because perhaps articulation was a tad clearer. I love these in my 6/4 tubas – they maximize the size of the sound without sacrificing clarity or beauty. The Euro shank is perfect for my Nirschl. The American seems better for my Meinl Westons. So, I bought two.

Great mouthpiece, great price. Great response with a solid, clear tone, I really like the RT-50 in my 4/4 CC tubas.

My son's teacher recommended this for him--he was having a tough time hitting some high register notes. This mouthpiece is amazing, the first time he put it on his tuba he was able to play an F4 (D4 has been the top of his range, and even that was pretty inconsistent). He really likes how it performs in the low register too--he says his tone is much richer.

Hi Professor, On Dec 27th I purchased the Ribert Tucci euphonium mouthpiece and received a confirmation email from you. Unfortunately, the tracking link did not work and I am left wondering if the mouthpiece is in its way to me. Perhaps you can advise me? Thank you!

I LOVE THIS MOUTHPIECE!!! I’ve been playing on it every day for the past year and it’s worth its weight in gold! Plays great throughout the registers and lays a clean foundation under any band or orchestra! I’ve never had any issues playing lyrically or technically with this mouthpiece! Articulations are a breeze!
