I just received my MB3 a few weeks ago and am impressed with the quality of the workmanship and sound produced by the mouthpiece. The rim is comfortable, rounded and wide. I seem to be able to play longer with less fatigue than my previous stock mouthpiece provided with my new Eb. Also, the air flow through the mouthpiece is smoother and with less backup. The higher range on this mouthpiece is slightly easier to attain than my previous one. The increased bulk of extra metal close to the rim does help with security and focus. I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend to other tubists.
