This RT-48+ tuba mouthpiece has two nicks on the outside of the rim that are very close to each other. Every other aspect of the mouthpiece is excellent. It has never been owned, but is being offered here as a b-stock item.

The RT-48+ provides all of the best qualities of the RT-48 with the tonal stability provided by the heavy shell design. The added weight allows more projection of the sound while retaining a dark core of sound. It works really well when very loud dynamics are required but also makes the response easy for soft dynamics.
