Mercer and Barker mouthpieces are produced from the tradition of precise British engineering and fine craftsmanship. The Mercer and Barker MB4SC tuba mouthpiece was designed in collaboration with Shaun Crowther, Principal Eb tubist of the world famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band. The is MB4SC was developed for the modern tuba soloist and works very well with F and Eb tubas. The shape and depth of the cup contributes to a brighter, lively sound that projects well. The MB4SC also helps the player achieve very clear articulations and improves flexibility. The rim is geared towards providing maximum comfort and endurance.
