    The RT-45 tuba mouthpiece by Robert Tucci is an excellent complement to a large CC or BBb tuba.  The combination of the RT-45's 32.5mm inner diameter, medium cup depth, and large bore allows the tuba to do the "heavy lifting" for you.  This is a great mouthpiece for the tubist that wants to support a large ensemble with a large tuba but doesn't need or care for the size of the the RT-48 or RT-50.

    A great moderate offering for those that like the RT rim and helleberg cup, but are looking for a mouthpiece slightly smaller than the larger models in the RT lineup. This has also been a great option for some of my students who were looking to move on from their first mouthpieces (Helleberg 7Bs and Bach 18s).

    I have a student who had played a Bach 18 for years and needed a more modern mouthpiece for his BBb tuba. We tried all of my RT’s and this was the best of the lot for him. His St Pete BBb really came to life for him with the RT45.
